In early summer, we enjoyed a visit to our American neighbors to the south, Peru and Ecuador. For the first time, our second cousin, Mark Dagostino, was able to travel with us for the month-long journey. It was a wonderful experience! We found both countries to have fascinating sites – Tomb of the Lord of Sipan, Pampa Grande, Colca Canyon, Machu Picchu and The Galapagos – plus warm and friendly people and some great food at very reasonable prices too! Also, travel to South America is much easier than international travel to Europe or Asia since it there is no major difference in time zones. Intra-region travel was great too and we put it to the test with some 20 flight take-offs and landings. So, we hope to inspire you to travel to and enjoy Peru and Ecuador!
