FEBRUARY 2001

This February we  had the pleasure of exploring Turkey and Egypt and, en route there, we spent several days enjoying lovely Barcelona, Spain (the "BCN" noted on the title of this holiday; it's the city code for Barcelona on the Sabre airline ticketing system).   It was a terrific trip that found us in a very familiar setting (i.e., a Mediterranean seaport) followed then by exposure to two ancient and vibrant countries. Read about it at your leisure and enjoy the sites!

In summary, for us it was a "Welcome to the Middle East" (begun with some fun R&R time in a familiar Mediterranean setting)!
