Upon arriving in Chile on February 2, we immediately flew to Puerto Montt, picked up a rental car and drove to Puerto Varas, a short distance away. We spent the next couple of days relaxing and exploring the area before heading to Martin Pescador Lodge for our first week of fishing (see, Martin Pescador). In addition to the quaint town, the primary attractions in the area are Vulcan Osorno and Petrohue Falls. Both are stunning!
