The Yucatan – everyone envisions a great getaway immediately – lots of fun, sun and hospitality in the Mexican Riviera.  We recently enjoyed that plus some great fishing at the Let It Be Inn in Punta Allen.  The Inn is located on the southern point of the Yucatan peninsula on Ascension Bay in the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve.  The town of Punta Allen (Allen Point) has about 400 residents, no paved streets (all are white sand), electricity via a generator (which doesn’t always work so The Inn has its own generator), a church you just have to see, and some of the warmest, friendliest people on earth.
