A trip to Selwyn Lake Lodge is truly an upscale experience.  It begins upon arrival at Saskatoon where a lodge representative meets you at the airport and then takes you to the Travelodge for the evening.  The next morning (very early – 4:30A), you begin the charter flights to Selwyn.  The first segment is a flight into Stony Rapids.  From Stony Rapids, you switch to a float plane which arrives at the Selwyn Lake Lodge dock.  Here, you’re warmly greeted by Gord and his guiding team members.

After a great breakfast, you’re off for that first day of fishing and fun.  Then, each of the next 6 days (if you're on a 7-day package as we were), you and your guide continue exploring the fabulous fishing and scenery Selwyn Lake offers – not to mention some great shore lunches.  At the end of each day, you unwind in the lodge enjoying hors d’oeuvres and a beverage of your choice (and boy, do they have everything!).  Finally, the day is capped off with a wonderful gourmet dinner served with fine wines.  Truly outstanding!
