2002 got off to a wonderful start as we spent the month of February exploring Thailand and the island of Borneo in Malaysia.  Of course, getting to that part of the world takes a bit of doing.  To begin our February holiday, we left Albuquerque on January 30.  We arrived at Hong Kong on February 1 (after some 20 hours of flying and crossing the International Date line).  We then stayed a night there before flying to Bangkok to begin the adventure.  As noted above, everything was fabulous!  Wonderful people, sites, food, wildlife, shopping and more.  Keep reading for more details under the various headings!
