We had the pleasure of being in Bangkok on the evening of December 5 to witness the celebrations honoring the 87th birthday of His Royal Highness Bhumibol Adulyadej who is also known as King Rama IX.  He has reigned since June 1946.  It’s amazing how beloved he is to the Thai people!
