Mike Treloar of River Bourne Outfitters (mtwaydowntown@aol.com) was our guide on The Madison River for two days.  Using Bozeman as our base, each morning Mike picked us up at our hotel.  When then headed to The Madison to fish different stretches from a drift boat.  Despite the heat (well over 90 degrees), we had some outstanding fishing!  We caught both rainbow trout and brown trout and even a big cutbow (rainbow-cutthroat hybrid).  We also caught whitefish (but didn’t photograph any of them; however, they are great fighters & good practice).  We’ll be looking forward to future fishing with Mike (both in Chile & Montana).  Check out the action on The Madison River below.
