Home Up

NOTE: "HOME" takes you to our initial home page;
  "UP" will return you to the NORTH AMERICA/CARIBBEAN site for more exploring.

            We enjoyed another great vacation with Ken & Cathy.  We flew to Fort Lauderdale and had the opportunity for a brief visit at their lovely home.  Of course, we were warmly welcomed by not only Ken & Cathy, but their puppies – Louie, Sophie & Alex.  It’s always a great treat for Lindy since she loves dogs.

            We then took a long weekend trip to the lovely country of Costa Rica (we had to fly in/out of Miami but Ken always does a great job of navigating us through the traffic!).  In Costa Rica, we visited the Pacific coast region and stayed at the Hilton Papagayo Resort.  We enjoyed an excellent stay during our four nights there.  We took one half-day tour via bus and then boat to enjoy the Tempisque River in the Palo Verde National Park.  Since we had a rental car, we also visited the town of Liberia as well as the coastal community of Playa de Coco.  All and all, it was a relaxing and fun trip and a good time was had by all!  Check out our photographs below for more details about the Hilton Resort as well as our travels outside the Resort.

these guys seem to be everywhere

Wow, Crocodiles on the river!

They are a bit difficult to see but
if you look carefully, you'll see Long-Nosed
