Home Up

NOTE: "HOME" takes you to our initial home page; "UP" will return you
to the CHILE 2007 site for more exploring.

Our second fishing expedition was based out of Coyhaique.  We fished with local guide, Ivan Toro (email:  troutaike@hotmail.com ).  We previously had fished with Ivan in 2005 and it was great to once again explore these waters with him.  The Coyhaique area is famous for rivers such as the Rio Simpson, Rio Manihuales and Rio Aysen to mention a few.  We had a great time fishing on these rivers as well as several others.

Also, based on Ivan's recommendation, we stayed in a lovely hotel, Hostal Bellasario Jara ( www.belisariojara.itgo.com ) while in Coyhaique.  We highly recommend both fishing with Ivan and enjoying the hospitality of Hostal Belasario Jara.  Photographs of our trip highlights follow.
